Bower Bird Camp

 Bower Bird Camp

Bower birds – they are our regular visitors to this area so of course we named it for them!  Spectacular Bower Bird camp lies along the beautiful freshwater Dalrymple Creek and it’s really a very big flat area set among tall gums.  And yes, those great waterholes are all part of the fun of camping and are here for you and your family to fish in, swim in and catch the odd yabby in.  The kids have a ball in the water and in this area, you have great vision of what they’re up to as well as where and what the dogs are doing!  And yabbying – have you tried it yet?  It’s lots of fun and the kids love it – and they’re pretty good eating as well.

The area itself is private and very peaceful with plentiful supplies of firewood on ground for your day and night camp fires.

Keep your eyes open though!  Careful exploration may just reveal nature at work and you may suddenly be missing ribbons, coloured paper and any or all of the small bright and shiny objects from around your campsite…..guess where they’ve gone?!
